    We offer classes from leading local professionals with over 40 years of combined coaching experience. Disciplines include: Aerial Arts (fabric, lyra, trapeze, rope, etc.), wheels, hooping, flexibility/strength training.

  • Special Events

    Looking for a one of kind birthday party, field trip, or team building? We can create the perfect event no matter what age. Everyone is welcome to run off to the circus.

Founder Kelly Jo Stull Chartier is an all around cirque extraordinaire! She founded In the Dark Circus Arts in 2011 as a performance company and a circus arts training school in Baltimore, Maryland. Since 2011 she has expanded In the Dark Circus Arts into one of largest circus schools in Maryland. The school offers a wide variety of classes, multiple coaches, performance opportunities, and apprenticeships for emerging coaches and performers.
