Aerial Silk: Turning Silk Tricks into Unique Choreographies!
The choreographic possibilities of Silks are endless! In this workshop, I’ll be sharing some of my very favorite creative choreographies and unusual transitions. We’ll bend your brain and your body and try many things that hopefully you have not tried before, all while checking in with good technique and movement fundamentals. Material will include drops, flexibility sequences and fluid transitions. Variations will be offered for all levels.

Instructor Bio: Katelyn took on the alias KitCat in 2012 and has been exploring the world of aerial and circus arts ever since. She has traveled the country and the world through her network of incredible circus friends and colleagues. Kat has a background in hula hoop and fire dancing, aerial lyra, silk, and straps, ballet, belly dance, and contortion. Kat draws inspiration from connection to flow, storytelling, and human connection. She is based in Santa Barbara, CA, but has trained with mentors in San Diego, LA, and Vegas. Kat loves traveling, sharing knowledge, and integrating personal style with saucy, skillful, and intentional movement. Her performance credits include Coachella, Lionsgates films, and performing for artists such as Sir Elton John. But her greatest joy comes from nerding out on aerial pathways with friends and feeling that release when we dance in our flow state.

There will be no refunds/transfers/credits after 48 hours before the start of the event.
